Protecting your privacy and the information you provide is an important principle of practice. As registered members of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, we adhere to strict privacy and confidentiality standards. As such, all of the information you provide by phone, email, or in person is kept in strict confidence.
The information you provide to us will not be disclosed to any third party without your written consent except in the following circumstances: – If you indicate that you may be a danger to yourself or others. – In the case of apparent or suspected abuse of a child under 16. – If you report sexual abuse on the part of a health care professional. – If our records are subpoenaed by a court of law. – If the records of my psychotherapist are randomly audited by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
No one except your therapist has access to your clinical file without your consent. Despite every effort to ensure that your personal information is kept in strict confidence, our therapists will not be held liable for any damages suffered from accessing information from this website or by contacting us by email or phone (computer viruses, system failures, technical errors, etc.).
